Mali has implemented an upward revision of petroleum product prices across the country, with the new rates taking effect from March 28, 2026, according to the Malian Office of Petroleum Products (OMAP).
The announcement was made by OMAP President and Chief Executive Officer Diakiridia Dembélé, an Inspector of Finance, during a televised address on the national broadcaster, the Office of Radio and Television of Mali (ORTM).
Under the new pricing structure, super unleaded fuel now sells at 875 CFA francs per litre, while diesel (gasoil) and distillate diesel oil (DDO) are priced at 940 CFA francs per litre.
The price of fuel oil 180 has been set at 675 CFA francs per litre. Meanwhile, the prices of lamp oil and Jet A1 aviation fuel have been liberalized.
OMAP also announced adjustments affecting butane gas, which is no longer subsidized. The price has been set at 1,170 CFA francs per kilogram, with a 2.75 kg cylinder costing 3,245 CFA francs and a 6 kg cylinder priced at 7,075 CFA francs.
Authorities say the new pricing measures are part of broader efforts to adjust domestic energy pricing policies and reflect evolving conditions in the petroleum sector.
The revised prices now apply nationwide.
